Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a voucher, participants must:

1. Be an Australian resident aged 18 years or older. If you are an expat or have a permanent visa, you are eligible as well.

2. Hold an existing variable rate home loan (fixed rate loans are excluded)

3. Have a minimum credit score of 600.  Note: We are not conducting a credit check on your file.

4. Have demonstrated at least 12 months of consistent repayment history on their current loan

5. Complete the online survey in full

6. Attend a discovery meeting (phone or in-person) with an MFA broker

7. Provide requested supporting documents (e.g. bank statement) for verification of your rate, lender, loan amount.

8. Own (or co-own) the property linked to the loan being reviewed

9. Consent to MFA Privacy Statement

 

Note: Eligibility is subject to verification by My Finance Agent and lender requirements. Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification from the offer.

Rate Check Outcome (Applies to Both Parties)

1. If MFA cannot identify a loan option with a lower interest rate the participant will receive a $50 voucher

2. If MFA identifies a loan with a lower interest rate:

- The participant will be presented with refinancing options

- If the participant chooses not to proceed, they will not be eligible for the $50 voucher

- If the participant is not eligible for the cheaper product, the participant will not be eligible for the $50 voucher as we are only assessing your rate vs current market rate, not your ability to repay or qualify for the loan at this stage in the process.

Important:

- The rate comparison is based on available lender products at the time of assessment

- Outcomes are subject to lender policies, credit assessment, and individual circumstances

3. The voucher will be issued within 14 business days of outcome confirmation. It is limited to one per household.

4. If participant proceeds with refinancing through MFA and the loan successfully settles, MFA will provide $120 rebate equivalent at BNA fees. This rebate will be issued post-settlement (typically within 30 days)

5. By participating, the client consents to:

- MFA collecting and using their personal information for the purpose of loan assessment

- Being contacted by MFA representatives

- All data will be handled in accordance with MFA’s privacy obligations and secure document handling processes (e.g. encrypted bank statement retrieval systems)

6. Participants will be disqualified if they provide incomplete, false, or misleading information.

7. MFA will always act in the client’s best interests, and may recommend not proceeding if unsuitable
